Where will our Kickstarter funds go?

In the upcoming year, we plan to use our momentum to expand to a larger, more efficiently-run site in the city. We will plant crops that we know we can sell, using our rotation plans that are tried and true, to establish an operation that has strong roots and is self-sustaining.

But, as with any business, we will need start up capital to get us going. There will be a period of time that we will need to devote to building infrastructure, digging beds, amending soil, and gathering tools and materials, and we will need to pay ourselves a modest stipend in order to keep ourselves healthy as we move the project along toward self-sufficiency.

The money that we raise through Kickstarter will go toward these start-up investments of time, energy and materials. A loose breakdown:
